Youngsters in Action

10 March 2014

Watch 18s & 21s this week

A busy week for Reading's youngsters kicked off with a fantastic 4-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers for the Royals under 21s on Monday evening.

Goals from De'Jaune Taylor-Crossdale, Jake Cooper and a brace from Sheppard Murombedzi sealed three points at the Camrose, with a number of Reading players unavailable due to injury or this Wednesday's FA Youth Cup tie with Liverpool.

Our Academy take them on in the quarter-final of the prestigious tournament, looking to reach the final four for the first time in the club's history!

The game will take place at Madejski Stadium with a 7pm kick off. Tickets are £3 for adults and £1 for concessions - they can be purchased now by calling 0844 249 1871, coming to Madejski Stadium in person or visiting Reading FC Direct. Seats can also be purchased on the night. Parking will be free on the evening at the Stadium.

Then this Saturday our under 21s are back to the fore - as they play their semi-final of the Premier League U21 Cup, taking on Arsenal at Boreham Wood FC - with the 3pm kick off the same as our first team clash with Derby County.
