OBITA WINS PLAYER OF THE SEASON
Royals youngster Jordan Obita was named our Player of the Season for 2013/14 before our final home fixture against Burnley.
Obita was voted as your winner of the trophy this season, ahead of Chris Gunter in second and Danny Williams in third.
It marks an incredible rise through the ranks for the Royals star, who first joined the club at the age of eight before making his first team debut aged only 16.
Jordan's accolade, well worthy of number TWO in our top ten moments, is testament to the hard work that has gone into an Academy system which remains the envy of so many across the country.
We won 5-4 on spot kicks, but that doesn't tell anything like the full story of an amazing match.
Reading led 2-0 but were pegged back on 88 minutes, and then trailed 4-2 only to score twice in the final three minutes of extra time.
We then scored all five of our penalties, with De'Jaune Taylor-Crossdale stroking home the decisive spot kick to send our players, staff and supporters wild on a great evening.
It really was an incredible night, with drama, quality, sheers guts and determination, and first and foremost our youngsters are through to the last four for the first time ever - a quite remarkable achievement.
