Qatar first up in Toulon Tournament

Royals youngster Jordan Obita scored a superb goal for England on Thursday evening, to help the Three Lions to a 3-0 win over Qatar in the U20s Toulon Tournament.

The Academy graduate impressed watching BT Sport viewers with a superb strike from the left hand side of the area, rifling home on the half volley into the far corner.

It was Obita's first goal at this age group for England, on his first ever call up to the Three Lions under-21s squad.

Goals from Jake Forster-Caskey and Jordan Cousins went on to give Gareth Southgate's side a comfortable victory in their opening game of the competition.

Our Player of the Season almost grabbed a second goal towards the end as he smashed another left-footed strike just wide of the mark.

Next up for the Three Lions is Brazil on Monday night, kick off 6.30pm on BT Sport.
