Royals forward could head to Brazil
Reading striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has been named in Fabio Capello's 30-man provisional Russia squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The forward, who scored 13 goals for the Royals this season, will now wait on final confirmation of the line-up - with a final 23 man group to be selected by June 2nd.
Capello's side face warm-up friendlies against Slovakia on May 26, Norway on May 31 and Morocco on June 6 - before heading to the tournament to take on Belgium, Algeria and Korea Republic.
Other names included are former Chelsea man Yury Zhirkov, whilst Pavel pipped former Spurs man Roman Pavlyuchenko to the 30 man list.
