Team news: Hal returns to the bench

3 May 2014

Same eleven named for massive clash

Nigel Adkins has kept faith with exactly the same side that beat Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat last weekend for today's huge Sky Bet Championship clash.

The only change to the squad sees Hal Robson-Kanu return from a facial injury suffered at home to Middlesbrough, he replaces young striker Gozie Ugwu on the bench.

The game comes too soon for Danny Williams, Wayne Bridge and Danny Guthrie who sit out through injury, as well as long term absentee Jem Karacan.

Burnley name an unchanged side for the fifth game in a row.

Reading: McCarthy, Gunter, Obita, Pearce, Morrison, Akpan, Leigertwood, McAnuff (c), McCleary, Pogrebnyak, Le Fondre.
Subs: Federici, Cummings, Gorkss, Hector, J Taylor, Blackman, Robson-Kanu.

Burnley: Heaton, Trippier, Mee, Duff, Shackell (c), Jones, Marney, Arfield, Kightly, Barnes, Ings.
Subs: Cisak, Edgar, Long, Treacy, Stanislas, Baird, Wallace.
