We're down to the final installment of our latest feature on readingfc.co.uk, as we reveal in full the ten moments to remember from the 2013/14 campaign.

The year may not have ended how we all wanted it to, but there were some memorable points to look back on as we keenly await the upcoming 2014/15 season.

At 10....
A TEAM FULL OF KARACANS

In October, the Royals sent the injured Jem Karacan a sign of solidarity when he was unable to attend the 2013/14 Reading FC team photo due to an operation. The gesture underlined the strong bond that is ever-present within the Royals camp as they wished Jemba well with his injury, and Reading supporters will be looking forward to Karacan's return in the new campaign!

At 9....
IMPORTANT WIN OVER LEEDS

With the final whistle approaching during Reading's home game with Leeds United in September, it looked like Brian McDermott, on his first return to Madejski Stadium, would ensure the points were shared between the Royals and the Yorkshire side. But Adam Le Fondre headed in a stoppage-time winner to seal all three points for Nigel Adkins' men - which comes in at number nine of our moments to remember.

At 8....
ROYALS SPREAD CHRISTMAS JOY

Monday 16th December saw the Royals descend en masse to the Royal Berkshire Hospital, as Stephen Kelly, Chris Gunter, Alex Pearce, Sean Morrison, Jobi McAnuff, Garath McCleary and Adam Le Fondre aimed to spread some Christmas cheer to youngsters unfortunate enough to be spending the festive period away from home.

At 7....
DRAMATIC LATE JOY OVER LIVERPOOL

Reading reached the FA Youth Cup semi-finals for the first time in our history after an absolutely incredible game against Liverpool. The Royals led 2-0 thanks to Harry Cardwell's brace but were pegged back on 88 minutes, and then trailed 4-2 only to score twice in the final three minutes of extra time - left back George McLennan coming off the bench to level at the death before winning on penalties.

At 6....
FIVE STAR WIN OVER BLACKPOOL

Reading set about the second demolition of their Madejski Stadium opponents within the space of ten days back in January, smashing five past Blackpool - with just one consolation goal for the visitors from the North West.

At 5...
McCLEARY's GOAL OF THE SEASON

With Burnley 2-1 up against the Royals at Madejski Stadium on the final day of the Sky Bet Championship season, the former Nottingham Forest man watched a looping ball carefully onto his right foot, and unleashed an unstoppable rifle into the back of the net to send the Reading faithful wild. The goal was today (Thursday) announced as our Goal of the Season, as voted by the fans.

At 4...
THE ALEX PEARCE STEPOVER

After the Royals had just taken a 2-1 lead over Doncaster Rovers having come from behind, Nigel Adkins men were looking to seal the three points. Cue Alex Pearce to race forward, execute a fairly admirable step-over before passing to Pavel Pogrebnyak who smashed home for 3-1. An unforgettable moment for all Reading fans inside the Keepmoat Stadium on that day!

At 3...
CUP GLORY FOR U21s

Reading became the inaugural winners of the U21 Premier League Cup by beating Manchester City at Madejski Stadium in April 2014. Two second half goals, from Tariqe Fosu and Jack Stacey sealed a 2-0 victory on the day, and a 4-3 win on aggregate.

At 2...
OBITA WINS PLAYER OF THE SEASON

Royals youngster Jordan Obita was named our Player of the Season for 2013/14 before our final home fixture against Burnley. He was voted as your winner of the trophy this season, ahead of Chris Gunter in second and Danny Williams in third.

At 1...
BIGGEST WIN AT MADEJSKI STADIUM

Reading made history on Saturday 18th January 2014 by beating Bolton Wanderers 7-1 - their biggest ever win at Madejski Stadium. The last time the Royals had scored seven was way back on 29th December 1979.
