Loan update: Goalkeeper in the hat

11 November 2014

Stuart Moore's Basingstoke could face Bristol City

Stuart Moore played 90 minutes for Basingstoke as they came from behind to draw 1-1 with Telford in the first round of the FA Cup on Saturday.

The keeper was powerless to prevent Rod McDonald’s first-half free-kick from whizzing past him but Chris Flood earned the Conference South leaders a replay by bulleting home a header after the break.

The winners up the rematch will take on League One leaders Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

Fellow goalkeeper George Legg had joined Dunstable Town on loan until January 3rd, while stopper Billy Colling has linked up with Barnet on a work experience basis.

Royston Drenthe did not feature for Sheffield Wednesday in their 0-0 draw with Rotherham in the Championship. The winger was serving a one-match ban after being sent off against Bournemouth last Tuesday.

Goalkeeper Aleks Gogic turned out for Slough Town as they recovered from 2-0 down to beat Paulton Rovers 4-2 in the Calor League Premier Division. Scott Harris hit a 14-minute hat-trick for the Rebels.

Lasha Dvali played the entire game as FC Skonto beat Daugava Riga 4-1 in the Virsliga.
