Sixth cap for Royals defenderCentre back Alex Pearce won his sixth Ireland cap on Tuesday evening, helping Martin O'Neill's side to a 4-1 victory over the USA.
Two goals from Robbie Brady and one each from Anthony Pilkington and James McClean helped the Emerald Isle to a convincing win over Jurgen Kinlsmann's side, who are currently ranked 23rd in the world.
Pearce, 26, who recently made his 200th league start for the Royals, played 90 minutes and looked comofortable throughout at the Aviva Stadium.
"It was very nice to score some goals and play well, particularly in the second half," said O'Neill. "We had some fine individual performances and it was a useful exercise.”
