Royals stars in action

A number of Royals are be in international action this weekend, and we've got the latest here.

USA U20 4-2 Russia U20
Wednesday, 12th November

Our striker Andrija Novakovich scored as his American side began a four-team tournament in Spain with a resounding win.

Australia U23 2-2 Brazil U23
Friday, 14th November

Ryan Edwards was in action on Friday - notching an assist in a 2-2 draw with Brazil as part of a young 'Ollyroos' U23 side. Australia are in China for an unusual four team tournament and will also take on Chinea and Korea before the international break is over.

Scotland 1-0 Ireland

Friday, 14th November
Alex Pearce was an unused sub as Ireland went down 1-0 to a Shaun Maloney goal. Shane Long made his 50th appearance for his country, quite some achievement for the former Reading man.

Romania v Northern Ireland
Friday, 14 November

Oliver Norwood's side went down 2-0 for their first defeat of this campaign, Olly playing the full game in Bucharest.

England U19s 3-0 Italy U19s
Friday, 14 November

It was a good night for our defender Rob Dickie, who came on after 72 minutes to help England's youngsters to a cracking win in Rotherham.

Nigeria 2-0 Congo
Saturday 15th November

Hope Akpan was forced off injured after 51 minutes in a 2-0 win for the Super Eagles. There are reports of a shoulder injury but there is no official confirmation at this time.

Ireland U21s 0-1 USA U20s
Saturday 15th November

Liam Kelly, Shane Griffin and Sean Long all started for Ireland, with Kelly playing his first game at this level. Pierce Sweeney is also in Ireland's squad, while Andrija Novakovich came on for the last six minutes for the USA.

Belgium 0-0 Wales
Sunday, 16th November

Chris Gunter and Hal Robson-Kanu both started for Wales as they got an excellent result in Brussels. Hal almost won the game late on with a shot from outside the box as Chris Coleman's side continued their impressive campaign so far. Jake Taylor was an unused sub.
