Open Day: What's On

Royals fans will be given the chance to get a unique insight behind the scenes of Reading FC on Tuesday 28th October when Madejski Stadium opens its doors for a FREE Open Day!

Supporters will be able to watch the team train on the pitch and meet some of their favourite players.

The Open Day is not ticketed and so everyone is welcome, you can simply turn up on the day at the East Stand - check below for more details and timings, and make sure you don't miss out!

Please note those aged 12 or under must be accompanied by an adult.

What Time?
- Doors open from 10.30am, events run until roughly 2:30pm.
- Watch the team train on the Madejski Stadium pitch from approximately 11am – 12pm.
- From 1pm to 2pm, players based will be based at the Megastore and the Fun Zone to meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photos.
Megastore: Federici, Cox, Edwards.
Ticket Office: Gunter, McCleary
Fun Zone: Obita, Akpan, Kelly

What's On?
- Watch training from the East Stand (access via the large blue doors at Gates 7 and 8)
- Royals Fun Zone outside the North Stand: football freestyler, games, speed cage, glitter tattooist
- Kingsley and Queensley will be on hand all around the Stadium, to meet fans, pose for photos and sign autographs!

Giveaways
- Waitrose handing out 200 healthy breakfasts to early birds at the Fun Zone from 10:30am.
- PUMA handing out gifts at the Fun Zone at various times.
- Nuffield Health at the Fun Zone for healthy lifestyle talks.

Competition
- Tweet your photos with #MyTownMyClub for the chance to win.



Food & Drink
- The Jazz Cafe is open from 10am to 2pm
- East Stand concourse is open throughout with bacon rolls, locally-sourced pulled pork, a range of drinks and Kingsley Lunch bags reduced to £4.

FREE Membership!
As a special introductory offer, non-season ticket holders and those without a member card, can sign up for complimentary membership on the day and so can purchase tickets at a reduced rate for Royals home games!  Simply visit the Ticket Office on the day to find out more and collect a member card!

Travel
- Parking is available on site at the stadium, free of charge in the red car park and on a first come first served basis.
- Greenwave buses will be running to and from the stadium to Reading Station.
- Buggy Park outside the East Stand gates 7 and 8.

STAR
- The STAR HQ will be open from 10am.
