Welshman speaks to

Jake Taylor has highlighted the unity within the Royals squad as key ahead of this weekend's trip to Ewood Park.

A frustrating run of results was put to an end with a 3-0 win over Blackpool on Saturday, and the Welsh international believes that it highlighted the resilient nature of Nigel Adkins' group.

"I thought we defended very well against Blackpool and stuck together when it’s not been the easiest time," said Taylor. "I think it shows great character in the squad and togetherness to come away with the victory. We go into every game with a positive attitude and we will work hard in the week to see what else to work on - and of course analyse Blackburn. We go into every game the same regardless of who we’re playing, we look at strengths and weaknesses and work on it in the week."

With back to back home games awaiting Reading following their trip to Lancashire, the midfielder has again highlighted just how quickly results could propel any side up the ever changing Championship table.

"In this league a lot of teams can beat each other, you never really know what’s going to happen. If we can put a string of results together you never know where you can end up. In the next few weeks we have some home games coming up and it's important that we win those matches."
