Wales edge out AndorraChris Gunter played 90 minutes in Wales' nerve wracking 2-1 win away to Andorra on Tuesday evening.
Firm favourites for the clash, Chris Coleman's side had to contend with a difficult artificial pitch - and were shocked inside six minutes as the hosts went ahead through Ildefons Lima's penalty, after Neil Taylor pulled the shirt of Ivan Lorenzo.
However Gareth Bale headed home an equaliser before curling home a superb 81st minute free-kick to give his country an opening win in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
Gunter saw plenty of the ball playing at right back, mainly in the attacking third of the field as Wales enjoyed 76% of possession throughout the tie.
Jake Taylor, who had been named in the full Welsh squad for the first time in his young career, was an unused sub. Former Royal Simon Church started up front.
Speaking after the game, manager Coleman said: "They (Andorra) are a fighting nation, they play with a lot of passion and commitment. When we arrived, my heart sunk when we trained on it (the pitch). It shouldn’t be played on at our level, the good thing is that we got three points and everyone else has to come here."
