Fantastic amount raised so farRoyals boss Steve Clarke has made a £1,000 donation to The Avenue school following our Ryan's Royals project, and the total raised so far has surpassed £15,000.
More than £12,000 was donated via the auction of match-worn shirts, as well as a number of players' boots, with even more to follow.
Manager Clarke has very kindly pledged a four-figure sum, and the money will go directly to Ryan’s school in Tilehurst, West Reading.
Long-standing Royals fan Simon Eedle paid the same amount for Jem Karacan's shirt and has donated it to go on display at The Avenue School.
Our Supporters' Trust STAR have also donated the same amount for a shirt, and so too our shorts sponsors The Legend Alliance. Both gestures are very much appreciated by the school.
Jem Karacan is donating his appearance fee from the Blackburn game when we wore the shirt, and with more private donations to follow, including more from within the squad, we are hoping the total will go well past its current total of £15,000.
We would like to thank everyone who made a donation and played their part in sharing Ryan's story.
