A buying guide and frequently asked questions

Q: When was the season ticket renewal deadline?
A: The deadline for current season ticket holders was 5pm on Friday 29th May

Q: Are you still on sale with season tickets?
A: Yes, you can purchase by contacting the Ticket Office on 0118 968 1313 or visiting us in person.
If you are an existing member card holder you will need to contact the Ticket Office team to have your member card cancelled before purchasing online.

Q: Can I move my seat?
A: You can move your seat at any time. You cannot move your seat on online, so you will need to phone the Ticket Office on 0118 968 1313 or visit us in person.

Q: I'm eighteen in October, but can I purchase a 17 and under season ticket or will I have to buy an 18-24 season ticket?
A: We take your age from August 1st. You’ll still be 17 – so you will still be able to buy a 17 and under season ticket!

Q: Can I purchase through Zebra Finance?
A: New Season Ticket Holders are advised to visit the Ticket Office in person so they can complete the form and pick their seat at the same time. Alternatively they can download the form from here: and complete it in advance of visiting the Ticket Office.

Q: I have renewed my season ticket; will I receive a new card?
A: All supporters 24 years and younger will receive a new card due to the amendments we have made to the age bands. Supporters 25 and over will need to keep their existing card unless they change seat, or move into the 65 & over age band. New cards for those who require one will be sent in July.

Q: I have chosen not to renew my season ticket; will I receive a member card to purchase on a match by match basis?
A: Anyone who doesn’t renew will need to contact the Ticket Office to request a member card in time for next season. The membership fee will be wavered.

Q: What happens if I lose my season ticket throughout the season?
A: Please phone the Ticket Office on 0118 968 1313 or visit the office and we will be able to replace your card. There is a £5 administration cost.

Q: Can season ticket holders upgrade their season ticket on a match by match basis?
A: For the 2015-16 season we will continue the policy of allowing season ticket holders to upgrade their season ticket a maximum of 3 times, plus unlimited evening games, with the appropriate fee.

Season ticket holders can upgrade by phoning the ticket office on 0118 968 1313 or visiting the ticket office and paying the appropriate upgrade fee. Supporters are advised to do this in advance of match day to avoid match day queues.

Any supporters wishing to upgrade their free 7 & under Season Ticket will be charged the full match ticket rate for an upgrade.

Regular checks are made of concession ticket usage at the turnstiles. Any supporters purchasing age related concession prices are advised to bring a form of identification with them to the match. Staff may challenge anyone considered not to be a genuine concession and request proof of age.  Anyone found trying to gain entry using a ticket with an incorrect price band will be required to purchase another ticket at full match day adult rate.

Q: I wish to transfer my Season Ticket (name change) to a friend or family member, can I do this?
Yes. Your request must be submitted in writing, advising of the following information:
•    Your name, customer number, address, contact details (email and telephone number) and date of birth.
•    The name, any existing customer number, address, contact details (email and telephone number) and date of birth of the supporter to which the Season Ticket is to be transferred.
•    If any additional payment is required then, we will need you to either phone the Ticket Office or come into the Office.
Upon receipt of this information, we will transfer the season ticket in to the new supporter’s name. Any loyalty points accrued on your account will be retained by you, they are not transferable. Any loyalty points attributed to the new sale will be awarded to the new season ticket holder, as appropriate.

Your letter can be sent to Reading Football Club Ticket Office, Madejski Stadium, Junction 11 M4, Reading, Berkshire, RG2 0FL, emailed to or hand delivered to the Ticket Office at the stadium.
