Revealed: Lady Sasima's Hogwood visit

22 April 2015

Shareholder makes training ground trip

Royals shareholder Lady Sasima Srivikorn paid a visit to our Hogwood Park training ground on Monday, and spoke to our players about the FA Cup semi-final and ambitions for the future.

Lady Sasima had flown over for the game on Saturday, and spent a number of weeks knitting a Royal blue scarf to wear in the Royal Box at Wembley!

She addressed the players as a group on Monday, and reflected on the team's performance in an historic semi-final, as well as speaking of our hopes for next season.

Manager Steve Clarke said, "The owners came over for the game and I think they enjoyed it. Lady Sasima came here to Hogwood on Monday, and I may be wrong but I think it's the first team she's spoken to the players as a group.

"She spoke very well and very passionately about our hopes and ambitions. It was good for the players to hear that they're on side, they want the club to do well and want more days like this weekend, it was very important for the group to hear that."

Lady Sasima and co-Chairman Sir John Madejski spoke to the Daily Mail last week, and the full article is online here.

Our majority shareholder Narin Niruttinanon recently spoke to the Club's official YouTube channel, watch in full below.
