Appiah, Knight & Yakubu start

Steve Clarke has made four changes to the side that picked up a point at home to Cardiff at the weekend, ahead of tonight's clash against Blackpool.

Yakubu and Kwesi Appiah start, the latter earning his full Royals debut at Bloomfield Road after the Crystal Palace striker came off the bench on Saturday.

Oliver Norwood starts in midfield alongside Nathan Ake, while Zat Knight replaces Michael Hector at the back to earn his second start for Reading.

Pavel Pogrebnyak, Hope Akpan and Jamie Mackie begin the game as substitutes while Jake Cooper and a fit again Simon Cox return to the squad to take a place on the bench.

Lee Clark has named former Royals loanee Darren O'Dea amongst his starting eleven.

Blackpool: Lewis, Hall, Clarke, O'Dea, Dunne, O'Hara, Perkins, Cubero, Orlandi, Jacobs, Madine.
Subs: Parish, Maher, Ferguson, Oliver, Osayi-Samuel, Telford, Delfouneso.
