A chance to development skills and experience with Reading FC

We are pleased to announce that the Reading FC Community Trust, in partnership with Adviza and Prince’s Trust, will be hosting a Prince’s Trust 12-week personal development programme for 16-25 year olds.  This programme aims to develop the skills needed to find and gain employment for young adults, whilst helping them developing self-esteem and confidence.

Throughout out the 12 weeks of the Team programme, participants will develop a range of skills and take part in a plethora of activities including:
•    Teamwork skills
•    Attend a five day team building residential
•    Undertake projects aimed at helping the local community
•    Complete a work placement
•    Plan, organise and deliver a team presentation
•    Gain new qualifications (First Aid and NVQ Teamwork and Community projects)

There will be a number of benefits for those looking to join the team programme, giving individuals the chance to realise their own potential by gaining new skills and experience.  The course will help young adults work towards a valuable qualification and also help them develop their CV and improve career aspirations.  The course is fundamentally about building confidence and increasing motivation and enthusiasm within its participants by presenting them with new opportunities, giving them the chance to meet new people and make new friends.

Our next Team programme starts on the 21st September.  For more information please call 0118 907 2153 or email AMcSweeney@readingfc.co.uk.
