See our youngsters in action on Monday eveningSupporters are warmly welcomed to come and watch our Under-21 side face their Liverpool FC counterparts at Madejski Stadium on Monday 24th August – and entry is completely FREE!
All supporters will be seated in the West Lower Stand, with gates opening at 6pm ahead of a 7pm kick-off.
It is an opportunity for Reading fans to come and see our stars of the future in action, and to give them some support for this match against the Reds at Madejski Stadium. Reading secured promotion to the U21 Premier League Division 1 last season, and the year before the young Royals were crowned as the inaugural Under-21 Premier League Cup champions.
And now the side will be looking to continue their strong start to the 2015/16 campaign after taking four points form their first two games. Martin Kuhl’s youngsters held Middlesbrough to a 1-1 draw on the opening day before picking their first three points of the season in home win at Hogwood last Monday, beating Sunderland 2-1.
There will also be a range of activities for young Royals fans outside the Megastore, and Kingsley will also be in attendance.
So come down to Madejski Stadium and get behind our Under-21s for free!
We have three more U21 fixtures at Madejski Stadium later in the season, which come against Norwich, Chelsea and Man City. Five U21 fixtures will be played at Adams Park and open for supporters to see, but games played at Hogwood are behind closed doors. Click here for our full U21 fixture list.
