Three changes to starting XI for Brentford tie

Peruvian international Paolo Hurtado gets included in the matchday squad for the first time at Griffin Park, as he mans the bench against Brentford.

For the Royals’ weekend fixture, manager Steve Clarke has made three changes to his starting XI to face Brentford after a midweek win against Portsmouth.

Jonathan Bond comes back in between the sticks for Reading after being rested at Fratton Park, while captain Paul McShane returns in the centre-half position.

The third and final change comes in the centre-forward role, where Orlando Sa starts.

Reading starting XI: Bond, Gunter, Obita, Ferdinand, McShane, Norwood, Quinn, Williams, Blackman, Robson-Kanu, Sa.
Substitutes: Al-Habsi, Hector, McCleary, Hurtado, Tshibola, Fernandez, Cox.
