A new addition being installed...Reading Football Club are delighted to announce that a new video screen will be installed at Madejski Stadium over the coming weeks, and will be in operation for the first time when Blackburn Rovers visit Berkshire on Sunday 20th December for our 3pm kick-off.
The state-of-the-art screen will provide Royals fans with up to the minute highlights, team news, statistics plus many more exciting features to enhance your matchday experience. Larger in size and with high definition visuals, the new video screen will see a huge step up in quality from the existing screen that was installed in 2005.
Club Commercial Director, Adam Benson, said: “The new video screen will undoubtedly help the Club continue to enhance the matchday experience at Madejski Stadium. It will provide us with a range of exciting new features designed to improve the overall sense of connection between the fans and the Club. We cannot wait to see it in action!”
As part of the installation phase there will be no video screen in place for the visit of Queens Park Rangers on Thursday 3rd December, kicking off at 8pm.
Supporters are also advised that traffic will be affected on the M4 motorway eastbound following the game against QPR. Due to scheduled work, the M4 will be closed between J11 and J10 from 9pm – the diversion route from J11 is via the B3270 onto the A329(M), before rejoining the M4 at J10. Tickets are on advance sale until three hours before kick-off – buy in advance and you’ll save £3 per ticket, and avoid the matchday queues! For full ticketing information for the meeting with QPR, click here.
