Complete the survey and lead the Royals out

Prostate Cancer UK are offering Reading fans the opportunity to be the club’s ‘Guest of Honour’ when the Royals host Brighton on March 7th.

The Football League’s official charity partner have constructed a survey aimed at raising awareness of prostate cancer among fans, and those who complete it will be entered into the free prize draw.

The winner will not only have the honour of leading the Royals out onto the pitch before kick-off and enjoy an extra special match day, they will also represent Men United in the battle against prostate cancer by putting aside their local football rivalries.

The partnership between Prostate Cancer UK and The Football League aims to:

•    Reach over 16 million fans across the terraces up and down the country, raising awareness of the disease which affects 1 in 8 men sometime in their life and kills over 10,000 men a year.

•    Raise awareness of prostate cancer - 4 in 5 of men at increased risk of prostate cancer are unaware of the danger.

•    Get people talking about prostate cancer: On average, one man dies every hour from prostate cancer in the UK, yet 88% of the UK don’t know what the prostate is for.

•    Raise money to support Prostate Cancer UK to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life: Currently in the UK, over a quarter of a million men are living with and after prostate cancer.
