Tonight’s official matchday programme ‘The Royal’ is all about goals.

Pavel Pogrebnyak scored one of the quickest strikes in the club history in the win over Wolves on Saturday, coming after just 20 seconds, and tonight’s Royal looks back at some other quickfire goals from the past.

Also, new signing Yakubu boasts an incredible knack of scoring against England international goalkeepers, a record which is expanded upon in tonight’s programme.

Chelsea loanee Nathaniel Chalobah is the edition’s main interview, where he outlines his goals and aims for the remainder of his stay at Madejski Stadium. The midfielder also reveals the job that he used to do on a regular basis when coming through the ranks in West London.

All of the Championship’s ins and outs from the January transfer window are summarised in a one-off feature and there are also full match reports from Reading’s recent wins against Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday.

Club captain Jem Karacan uses his regular column to give an insight into how Chalobah, the Yak and Jure Travner have settled into Reading life and manager Steve Clarke reflects on the wins over Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday in his programme notes.

As always, the 106 challenge tests fans’ footballing memories, another former Royal to have played a World Cup is profiled and much, much more.

Priced at £3, tonight’s Royal can be purchased from various locations in and around Madejski Stadium.
