Up-close: Royals' January deals

3 February 2015

Recap of Reading's transfer moves

The January transfer window has now come to a close, with the Royals bringing three players in across the month: Yakubu, Nathaniel Chalobah and Jure Travner.

With those additions, we've added more 200 career goals in Yakubu, a promising Premier League loan midfielder in Chalobah and an experienced defender in Travner.

Departing were Royston Drenthe and Shaun Cummings, who moved on permanently with best wishes. Glenn Murray returned to Crystal Palace and has since signed a new contract to stay at Selhurst Park.

And there were loan moves for three young players: Aaron Tshibola to Hartlepool and Craig Tanner to AFC Wimbledon, while Dominic Samuel moved to Coventry and scored on his debut on Saturday.
