Boro boss impressed with Steve ClarkeMiddlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka says that Steve Clarke has moulded the Royals into a more organised unit.
Boro visit the Madejski tomorrow looking for their first win over Reading in three attempts, with the Royals having won the last two encounters.
Simon Cox’s brilliant chip earned Reading all three points earlier in the season and the Teesiders’ boss is hopeful that his side can reverse the trend this weekend.
"It’s going to be a difficult game," he told Middlesbrough’s official website. "Reading have already beaten us at the Riverside this season and we lost at their ground last season.
"They’re a team we have struggled to win against lately. We want and need to beat them."
He continued: "Sometimes results improve when a team changes manager and I think with Steve at Reading they are improving.
"Jose [Mourinho] told me about Steve when we worked together in Madrid and said he is a very good manager, a very good person and he’s doing well.
"I know it’s difficult for him but the team is now more organised now and it’s going to be a difficult game for us."
