Two changes to side for FA Cup showdown

Steve Clarke has handed new loanee Nathaniel Chalobah his first start in Royals colours, the Chelsea youngster starting in midfield at the Cardiff City Stadium this afternoon as the FA Cup takes centre stage once more.

Danny Guthrie and Jamie Mackie miss out on the trip to Wales, while Chalobah is joined by Nick Blackman in the starting eleven as Simon Cox drops to the bench.

Midfielder Jake Taylor is restored to the substitutes' bench and new addition Jure Travner has travelled with the squad but is not involved today.

Former Royal Sean Morrison starts for Russell Slade's side this afternoon, while Matthew Connolly is named as a substitute, but there is no room for Adam Le Fondre in the Bluebirds' squad.

Cardiff City: Moore, Fabio, Malone, Turner, Morrison, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Harris, Noone, Jones, Revell.
Subs: Wilson, Connolly, John, Adeyemi, Ralls, O’Sullivan, Macheda.

Reading: Federici, Gunter, Obita, Hector, Pearce (c), Chalobah, Norwood, Williams, McCleary, Blackman, Pogrebnyak.
