Steve Clarke makes two changes to starting XIJem Karacan is named in a Championship squad for the first time in 16 months after recovering from his knee injury, as he takes his place amongst the substitutes for today’s game with Middlesbrough.
In the starting XI, Pavel Pogrebnyak returns for the first time since September in one of two changes made by manager Steve Clarke.
The Russian striker’s most recent Royals appearance came off the bench against Charlton in November, before he suffered hamstring and then calf injuries.
Adam Federici returns in goal, in place of Mikkel Andersen who returns to the bench, in Clarke’s only other change to his team that beat Huddersfield last weekend.
