Manager Darrell Clarke is expected to name a strong squad again for this match. At the weekend, Rovers narrowly lost 1-0 to an Arsenal XI, welcoming back Jermaine Easter after an injury layoff. Clarke said, “I’ll mix things around again but it will be a strong squad in what will be another good test for us."

Boss Steve Clarke is taking a strong squad, although Michael Hector & Garath McCleary are on international duty. Hal Robson-Kanu picked up a knock at Spurs so is out, while Simon Cox, Paul McShane, Orlando Sa, Jack Stacey and Jake Cooper will not be involved.

Following relegation from League Two on the final day of the 2013-14 season, Bristol Rovers spent their 132nd season in the Conference Premier for the first time in the club's history.
Their summer signing, Matt Taylor, became Rovers’ leading goalscorer by the end of the 2014-15 campaign, his 20 league goals aided the club in achieving a second-placed finish, one point behind champions Barnet.
Grimsby Town were their play-off opponents for the Final at Wembley in May, and a 5-3 penalty shootout triumph meant that Rovers became the first club since Carlisle United in 2005 to secure an instant return to the Football League.
The Royals last met the Gas in competitive action 2001, in Division Two (now League One), where a solitary strike from Jamie Cureton earned Reading a 1-0 victory at Madejski Stadium.
Tickets for the game tonight are pay on the day. Royals fans will be able to watch from the away terrace or from seats in the South Stand. Payment is by cash at the turnstiles, or if you’re using card then you can purchase at the Bristol Rovers Ticket Office.

Take the M4 west-bound towards Swindon, carry on until you reach Junction 19 and then exit onto the M32 towards Bristol. When at Junction 2, at the roundabout take the fourth exit onto the B4469 to Fishponds/Horfield. Continue for about 1.5 miles before taking the left turn into Filton Avenue and follow the signs for the stadium.
