Midfielder close in 0-0 draw
Oliver Norwood was close to breaking the deadlock as Northern Ireland picked up a potentially key point at home to Romania on Saturday.Norwood's free kick was kept out to maintain the goalless scoreline, and he could not have struck his 83rd minute effort any better, only for Ciprian Tatarusanu to keep it out.
Even so, his team remain in a good position, second in their group and two points clear of Hungary.
Oliver played the full 90 minutes, as did former Reading man Chris Baird.
Next up for Michael O'Neill's side are the Faroe Islands in September.
