Important info for FA Cup tieTonight's FA Cup match with Bradford is now SOLD OUT.
The final seats were sold this morning, and we would like to thank our fans for their support at this vitally important game.
It is bound to be a fantastic evening, and there are a number of events planned at Madejski Stadium:
• We would urge supporters to be at Madejski Stadium as early as possible; to avoid any congestion and help create the best possible atmosphere – please remember it is a 7:45pm kick off.
• Former Royal Glen Little will be out on the pitch, as a result of his call for the return of Sweet Caroline.
• The Club are asking for a Sea of Scarves when we play Sweet Caroline just before kick off, and scarves are reduced to £3.50 in the Megastore and all official outlets.
• The band will be back again in the North Stand, after helping the atmosphere against Brighton on Tuesday night. We will also have more musicians outside the ground before the game.
• Gates open at 6:15pm.
Bradford City have taken the entire South Stand and are expected to bring around 3,500 supporters.
West Berkshire Brewery
West Berkshire Brewery will be serving up pints of their multi-award winning ‘Good Old Boy’. Fans can head over to their pop-up bar, located outside Gate 7, and whet their whistle ahead of the big kick-off!
Outside the Megastore will be local band Concept, one of whom Matt Goodenough is a Reading season ticket holder in the East Stand and also travels away to support the team. They were on BBC Berkshire this week performing Sweet Caroline so we have invited them to the game. Follow the band on Twitter @Conceptofficial and Matt @Concept_Matt
A special 84-page FA Cup programme will be on sale from our sellers, also in the Megastore and at our kiosks. You can also pre-order here to have it posted out: http://rdng.co/BCFCprogramme.
Kingsley & Queensley
Our mascots will be in Reading town centre at lunchtime today [Monday], so look out for them from around 12.30pm on Broad Street. They will then be at the Royals Fun Zone from around 6pm!
North Stand concourse
The North Stand concourse is open for an hour after full time so supporters can enjoy our food and drink facilities.
Urban / Stagecoach buses
Reading Buses and Stagecoach timetables have both been brought forward 15 minutes from the normal 8pm kick off timetables. There will be two buses on each Stagecoach services. Click here for original timetables. Please note that in the event of extra time and/or penalties buses will stay behind to take supporters home.
Buses from Reading town centre
The F1 runs direct to the Stadium, from three hours before kick off until 7:25pm, or just afterwards if there are still supporters waiting. Departs from Reading Station south interchange, which is towards Greyfriars Rd & Tudor Road. GreenWave buses run before the game only, departure from Station Rd outside Nationwide. This service is via GreenPark.
Season parking permits are valid at Madejski Stadium.
For non-season permit holders, we recommend parking in the Foster Wheeler Park & Ride at Shinfield Park, which is your fastest car park for entering and leaving the ground. Free parking, bus fare £4 adult return, £2.50 child. Next we recommend Worton Grange on Imperial Way and the Old Greyhound Stadium on the A33, each £7 per car. Parking at Madejski Stadium is now ONLY for family parking at £8 per car and orange badges at £5.
Not got a scarf? Don’t worry, you can get your hands on a scarf from the Megastore, South Stand Mobile Unit, North Stand Kiosk or Shirt Printing Kiosk (also North Stand) at just £3.50! In addition, we have 50% off all replica kit, savings on Royals Pro Wear, and huge savings on a wide variety of items in-store only. Many offers also available at www.readingfcdirect.co.uk. Please note any off-site traders are not authorised by the club.
From 6pm supporters can visit the Royals Fun Zone, just outside the North Stand, Gate 6. They can put their football skills to the test and try out their bullet shots with our speed cage! To encourage fans to take their seats earlier the Royals Fun Zone will close at 7.30pm. The Royals Fun Zone will be closed just before kick off and will open again during half time. It will then close once the second half commences.
Food & Drink
Lockey Farm sausages and pulled pork baps available in the East and West Stand, priced at £3.50. Sausages will also be available in the North Stand. Young supporters can get their hands on the ever popular Kingsley Lunch Bag from the concourse kiosk for just £5! Included in the bag is a kid’s hot dog, fruit drink, Kingsley cookie, crayon, and a Reading FC picture!
As for the win against Brighton, for this evening kick off the players will be arriving as a group very early in the day, so there will not be an opportunity for autographs at the players’ entrance on this occasion.
Look out for our sellers around the ground – tickets just £1 with big cash prize in store and also a signed ball up for grabs!
