Federici & Pearce aim for milestone

31 March 2015

Stats ahead of Cardiff clash

This weekend's Sky Bet Championship clash with Cardiff City is set to bring up career milestones for Adam Federici and Alex Pearce.

The Royals regulars will make their 200th league starts for the club if selected against the Bluebirds, whilst Russian Pavel Pogrebnyak is in line for his 75th league start for Reading.

Federici and Pearce are the club's current leading appearance makers, with 470 games between them. The Australian goalkeeper leads the pack with 237 Reading appearances.

At the other end of the scale, new signings Nathan Ake and Kwesi Appiah could make their debuts, in what will be the 52nd league meeting between the two sides.

Honours are currently even in the head to head league results, with both sides having picked up 18 victories since they first met outside of the cup competitions in 1930.

Steve Clarke's men will be looking to pick up a first league win over the Welshmen since the famous 2005/06 season, when Steve Coppell's side twice fired five goals past their opponents as they completed the double over City.
