Karacan gets 65 minutes for U21s

9 March 2015

Skipper lines up in Blackburn win

Royals captain Jem Karacan played 65 minutes for our Under 21s on Friday night.

The skipper lined up for Martin Kuhl's side against Blackburn Rovers, with Niall Keown and Pierce Sweeney getting our goals in a 2-1 win.

It was a boost for Karacan to get more game time under his belt, having last played for our under 21s away to Huddersfield at the start of last month.

Keown opened the scoring with a good header, and after we were pegged back fellow defender Sweeney hit a sweet strike to give us all three points.
