In 'The Royal' this evening...

American international Danny Williams is the lead feature in this evening's edition of 'The Royal'.

The midfielder reflects on a unique experience at Valley Parade this past weekend, whilst switching his focus to a vital league encounter with Brighton and Hove Albion.

“Tonight’s game is the most important thing at the moment," he tells the programme. "We want to win. We have to focus our minds on this game tonight because the league is more important than the cup for the club."

For fans who made the trip to Bradford, there is a sizeable supporters photo gallery - and of course a bumper match report from the tense quarter-final tie.

Elsewhere, Club Historian David Downs profiles a much loved club figure, former Elm Park groundsman Gordon Neate, whilst Alan Sedunary honours those Biscuitmen who served club and country during the First World War.

Naturally quiz fans can try their hand at the 106 challenge, whilst Steve Clarke and captain Jem Karacan pen exclusive notes for the 84-page matchday magazine.

The Royal is priced at £3 and is available at outlets throughout the ground, as well as the club Megastore. Supporters can also purchase online via Reading FC Direct.
