Winger joins Cod Army on temporary dealReading midfielder Tariqe Fosu has today completed a loan move to Sky Bet League 1 club Fleetwood Town – he will remain with the Lancashire outfit until 2nd January 2016.

The youngster has a single senior appearance to his name in a Reading shirt; he played an hour from the bench on the final day of last season against Derby County. He became the 11th Academy graduate to make a first-team debut in the 2014/15 season when manager Steve Clarke called him into action at the iPro Stadium, taking the total tally to 37 Academy alumni to earn pro debuts with Reading since our youth setup was established in the summer of 1999.
Fosu has been a regular in the Reading Under-21 squad so far this season, helping the Royals team to their current position at third in the Barclays Under-21 Premier League standings.
Reading manager Steve Clarke said: “This is a good opportunity for Tariqe to play regular competitive football in the Football League, which will be an important part of his development. We are grateful that Fleetwood are offering him this experience and of course we will be keeping a close eye on how he is progressing.
“Tariqe did very well to earn an opportunity in the first team at the end of last season, and he has performed well for the Under-21s this year. This will offer a new challenge and learning opportunity, and I hope it is a successful spell for him.”
