We provide an update on how our loanees are faring...It took young striker Dominic Samuel just six minutes to open his account at the start of a loan spell with Gillingham at the weekend - scoring an early equaliser for the League One leaders who went on to beat Bury at Priestfield on Saturday afternoon.
Samuel, who will remain on loan at Gillingham until 10th December, could next feature in a massive clash with second-placed Coventry City this weekend - the same side Samuel starred for on loan last season!
Craig Tanner is another league leader - the young Royals forward helped Plymouth Argyle maintain a five-point lead at the top of League Two in a 2-1 victory at York City on Saturday.
Wing wizard Tariqe Fosu also made his loan bow at the weekend, coming off the bench in the second half to instantly get an assist in Fleetwood's defeat at Peterborough.
Centre-back Rob Dickie kept another clean sheet in a 4-0 win over Southport in the Conference at the weekend, having scored in a 5-0 victory at home to Guiseley earlier in the week.
And young striker Bogdan Vastsuk scored a 78th minute winner for Farnborough in a 2-1 win over Wingate & Finchley - Lewis Collins also played the full ninety minutes for Farnborough and the victory came courtesy of our Estonian youngster's superb individual effort late in the game.
Elsewhere, Irish full back Sean Long extended his loan stay with League Two Luton Town over the weekend and Hammad Lawal began a loan spell with Hampton and Richmond Borough by playing the first half in a 3-1 win over AFC Sudbury in the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Trophy. George Legg's Chesham United also picked up a win with a 3-2 result against Swindon Supermarine.
Neither Simon Cox (Bristol City), Aaron Kuhl (Dundee United) nor Jake Taylor (Motherwell) were in action at the weekend due to a break in the Scottish Premier League and Championship fixtures for the international interval.
