The skipper’s notes: Huddersfield Town

3 November 2015

A preview of Paul McShane’s programme column

Tonight's fixture comes against Huddersfield Town at Madejski Stadium, with another 3 points in the Sky Bet Championship at stake.  So we take a preview of the column penned by Paul McShane, our captain, in his regular column.

He writes: “This is another busy week and injuries, at this stage of the season, are naturally part of the game. You obviously try to minimise the potential for injury as a much as possible, but you can’t legislate for tackles here and knocks there. It’s unfortunate that we’re missing a few lads through injury at the moment, but that is what the squad is for. And we do have a strong squad here – even now when you look at our bench, you realise how strong a squad we have at Reading.

"We’re looking to win every game at home, so we have prepared as normal for the challenge of Huddersfield Town tonight. It is another game we want all three points from, so that will be our only aim."

Pick up a copy of ‘The Royal’ around the ground for £3 and read the skipper’s full programme notes.  We also go into detail on our opponents Huddersfield Town, and Andrew Taylor is the feature interview this week.

Don’t forget that you can save £3 compared to matchday prices by buying early – book your ticket before 5pm on matchday to make great savings!  Click here for more information.
