Don’t just take our word for it…

16 October 2015

Join us for the Charlton clash this weekend

The international break is done and dusted, and we’re ready to keep the momentum going in the Sky Bet Championship when Charlton Athletic visit this Saturday for the 3pm kick-off.

We had our largest turnout of home support to date this season at our last game against Middlesbrough – your support was rewarded within 15 seconds when Danny Williams scored his first Madejski Stadium goal!  Ultimately it ended 2-0 in our favour as we closed the gap on second-placed Boro to two points.

Before the match, we told you that an average of 1 in 4 season ticket holders don’t come to the game on any given matchday - this is common throughout the Football League, but it's a trend we want to buck.  For the game against Middlesbrough, we were pleased to see that number drop to 1 in 6 – a huge thank you to everyone that came; we hope we can keep that trend going.

Your presence and support at Madejski Stadium on a matchday makes a difference – but don’t just take our word for it.  This is what our players and manager have had to say in recent weeks…
