A round-up of who said what ahead of the Turf Moor visit

The Royals visit Burnley this weekend with both sides showing good form in the Sky Bet Championship so far this season.  The Royals sit sixth in the table and could leapfrog hosts Burnley with a win at Turf Moor; conversely the Clarets could go into the automatic spots should results go their way on Saturday.

Reading boss Steve Clarke: “Burnley will be strong, solid, well-organised and difficult to beat.  They have started the season well – sometimes there is a little bounce effect when you get relegated, and you don’t start so well, but Sean and his team have started the season well and we’re looking forward a really difficult game.”

Royals forward Ola John: “Every game is difficult; even though Burnley have played in the Premier League, if we play like we played against Everton I think we can win. We have to be ready for the game and Saturday is the next step for us.”

Burnley Manager Sean Dyche: “Reading have had some good results. We know there is no easy ride in the Championship and we have to be prepared for every game, every half even.  Home form is an important thing because we want our fans to enjoy what we’re doing, we want them to be part of it and winning always helps that.”

Clarets Midfielder Michael Kightly: “Reading are a decent team with a good squad and it’ll be a tough game. But we’re aware of that and we can go into the game with a positive mindset and hopefully get the win.  Home form is key and then going away it is key to be solid and try to get points that way. We want to keep it strong as it’s been good for the last couple of years.”
