Tshibola confident ahead of Ipswich clashRoyals starlet Aaron Tshibola is targeting a third successive win in all competitions with victory over Ipswich this evening. The 20 year-old, who signed a new contract with the Royals earlier this week, is confident more wins will come, following some impressive displays from the team in the early part of the 2015/16 campaign.
“It’s a long season, I think we’ve had a great start and after getting our first win against Brentford and we can only get stronger from there,” said the midfielder.
“We work hard as a group on the training field and we’re going to keep doing that, so I’m sure the points will start coming our way.”
The meeting with the Tractor Boys will be a good opportunity to see some of Reading’s new recruits in action and Tshibola feels the strength in depth the squad now has will provide good competition for places.
“We’ve worked hard on keeping the ball and controlling the game in training and that’s something we’re doing regularly,” said Tish.
“As you can see we’ve got some great players, so I think that’s something people will see more of from us, keeping the ball and playing attacking football.
“We’ve signed some really good players so it’s healthy to have competition. They are all really strong additions to the squad and hopefully the can help us push for promotion.”
