Ahead of the game: Rattling the Owls’ cage

9 December 2016

All you need to know ahead of our meeting with Sheffield Wednesday...

Reading v Sheffield Wednesday
Madejski Stadium
Sky Bet Championship
Saturday 10th December 2016, 3pm

The Royals will be looking to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they welcome Sheffield Wednesday to Madejski Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship. The Royals will want to bounce back from their defeat at Craven Cottage with Jaap Stam's men still sitting third in the Championship table.

The Owls, who are currently sixth, come into the match off the back of two straight wins in the Championship, looking for victory number three in Berkshire as they aim to continue their rise up the table.

Despite being without forward Fernando Forestieri who saw red after scoring in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Preston; the Yorkshire club will be looking to their considerable strength in depth when they come to Madejski Stadium, with players such as Steven Fletcher waiting in the wings.

Tickets are still available for our clash with the Owls, and if you are a Member Card holder and buy your ticket in advance of three hours before kick-off, you will be eligible for a saving of £3 compared to matchday prices.

The Royals also have a special family section in the Eamonn Dolan Stand, with reduced ticket prices for you and your family.
