Top flight opposition for Stam's side on Friday night! On Friday night, Madejski Stadium hosts Premier League opposition as Jaap Stam's take on AFC Bournemouth in our final pre-season friendly of the summer - eight days before the new EFL Sky Bet Championship calendar kicks in with a home game against Preston North End.
Kick-off is at 8pm and this will be your first chance to see a number of new signings make their Madejski Stadium debuts for the club. This Friday night will also be the first opportunity you get to see the team play in our brand new home kit for 2016-17!
Eddie Howe’s Cherries are also taking shape for their 2016-17 Premier League campaign. We may well welcome the likes of goalkeeper and former Player of the Season Adam Federici back to Madejski Stadium in Bournemouth colours, as well as our former loanees Benik Afobe and Nathan Aké, the latter having just begun a season-long stint with the south coast club.
Tickets are only £5 for all adults as well as those aged 65 and over and between 18-24, if bought in advance. And both home and away supporters under the age of 17 can come and see us in action for as little as £1! Friday night is a great chance to start to get behind the Royals at the beginning of a brand new adventure.
And if you want your first Madejski trip of the season to be a little more luxurious...you can book two fantastic and extremely affordable hospitality packages in the Royal and 1871 Suites ahead of the evening's entertainment - more details here!
