RFC Women manager Kelly Chambers said: “I am looking forward to these games and I definitely know my players are because we haven’t had many recently, and they have been training extremely hard.
“I know we will have a great turnout because we have some fantastic fans. We haven’t had a home game since May 2nd so I am hoping they are as excited as us to get down to Adams Park. I know the fans will be our 12th player on the day to help us build on what we have achieved so far and continue to compete for every point.”
The Royals welcomed midfielder Remi Allen into the group recently – an injury kept her sidelined for the last outing against Liverpool, but the former England U23 international could debut against her old club Birmingham next weekend.
“I really can’t wait to make my debut for Reading,” Allen said. “It has been a tough few weeks of training but I feel ready and I’m raring to go.
“Obviously with my debut potentially coming against Birmingham, that adds that extra little spice to the game for me – I’m excited”.
