RFC Women prepare for two home games in four days...

30 July 2016

Women look ahead to Notts County and Man City

Reading FC Women are in the midst of three consecutive home fixtures at Adams Park in WSL 1 coming within the space of a week and a half.

They kick-started the triple header when they were held to a 1-1 draw against Birmingham City Ladies last Sunday, but manager Kelly Chambers is positive that her side can secure victory when Notts County Ladies make the trip to Adams Park this Sunday 31st July.

“I am looking forward to these games and I definitely know my players are because we haven’t had many recently, and they have been training extremely hard”, said Chambers.

“I know we will have a great turnout because we have some fantastic fans. I know the fans will be our 12th player on the day to help us build on what we have achieved so far and continue to compete for every point.”

You can join the Women’s team at Adams Park in High Wycombe this Sunday for a thrilling afternoon of football. Kick-off is at 2:00pm and Queensley will also be in attendance and she visits the fun-zone that will be held on the day, which includes a mini-pitch, football volleyball and a passing hexagon!

The football doesn’t stop there though! Just three days after that match-up, Kelly Chambers’ side will again be in action back at Adams Park, this time with Manchester City Women the visiting team.

The game against current table-topers City will conclude the three home games in 11 days for Reading FC Women, so make sure you come down and get behind the team at Adams Park.
