Schedule set for Martin Kuhl’s menMartin Kuhl’s Under-21 side will play four away fixtures across the space of a fortnight in July by way of preparation for the new Barclays Under-21 Premier League campaign.
Also on the agenda for the Royals are a series of behind-closed-doors fixtures at Hogwood Park to get more minutes in the legs before the competitive fixtures begin in August.
Ryman League side Billericay Town – where Rowan Liburd was on the books before joining the Royals 12 months ago – play host first, before a Friday-night trip to their divisional rivals Met Police in Surrey.
Enfield Town (Ryman League) and Basingstoke Town (Evo-Stik Southern League) will provide the final two away fixtures for Kuhl’s charges, before they return back to base at Hogwood for some fixtures against their counterparts from other pro clubs.
It is a chance for our fans to see some of our fledgling talent in action – which could include the likes of Josh Barrett, Gabriel Osho and Axel Andresson after they stepped up from the Under-18 squad this summer. Ticket details will be available via the host clubs in due course.
