The Final Whistle: One-man play at Madejski Stadium

27 June 2016

Madejski Stadium plays host to specially comissioned production...

Madejski Stadium will play host to a brand new show, written and performed by Benedict Sandiford. ‘The Final Whistle’ is a play produced for Reading’s Year of Culture 2016 and will take place in the inner sanctum of the Royals’ home changing room.

The performance - bought to you by the team that created the acclaimed ‘Jacksons Corner’- will be taking place at Madejski Stadium between Tuesday 19th to Saturday 23rd July.

The audience will enter via the players entrance at the Madejski Stadium and will then go behind the scenes as they descend into the tunnel and the dressing room area…

Everything rides on this
The biggest game of the season
Win and we're heroes
Lose and...
You need to be able to look yourself in the eye at the final whistle.

Specially commissioned and produced by South Street and directed by Cassie Friend of Redcape Theatre, tickets to 'The Final Whistle' are £12.50, with concessions at £10.
