Sky Bet Championship
Saturday 19th March, 3pm
Saturday sees the Royals face Cardiff City at Madejski Stadium, with Reading looking to get back to winning ways in the Sky Bet Championship.
Cardiff are currently seventh in the Championship table, a point outside the play-off places, and have won three of their previous four games, beating Ipswich 1-0 last time out.
The meeting between the two sides earlier in the season in Wales saw the Bluebirds come out on top, winning 2-0 on their home patch, something the Royals will be looking to put right when the teams go head to head in Berkshire...

Taking charge of this weekend’s clash at Madejski Stadium will be Darren Drysdale. Saturday’s referee has only officiated one other Reading game this season, which was all the way back in August, when the Royals won away at Colchester Utd in the Capital One cup.
Drysdale has handed out 66 bookings this season only sending off two players in the 28 games he has overseen. This weekend will see him joined by assistants Mark Russel and Darren Blunden, with David Rock as Fourth Official.
Football League title sponsors Sky Bet have the Royals down at 13/10 to bag a home win at Madejski Stadium with Cardiff at 21/10 to take the all three points. A draw is priced at 23/10.
Royals' front man, Yann Kermorgant, is at 2/1 to score across the 90 minutes, with Matej Vydra at 9/4 to net against the Bluebirds.
Thanks to our Official Pouring Rights Partner, Heineken, Royals fans can enjoy a beverage at the ‘Royals Rendezvous’ before the game. Located outside the East Stand the new area is an ideal place to catch up and enjoy a drink with fellow fans before the action kicks off!
Don’t forget to get your Golden Gamble ticket – the draw, sponsored by STAR, will be made at half-time. Tickets can be purchased from designated sellers based around the stadium, for just £1. There are two prizes up for grabs: a cash prize or an item of Reading FC merchandise, signed by the team! All funds go to the Reading FC Community Trust.
