Reminder: Your alternatives to Worton Grange

3 March 2016

Other options, including additional bus services, available to our fans…

By way of reminder, the Worton Grange parking facility is now unavailable for supporters to use on matchdays for the remainder of the current season, due to imminent redevelopment work which is set to commence on the site.

However there are still a number of alternatives available for fans that would usually use the site – including other parking locations and public transport to the stadium.  Here are some of the options which you may choose to use, including for this weekend's fixture against Fulham…

Foster Wheeler, Shinfield Park, 500 spaces.
Free to park. This involves a short bus ride to and from the stadium. Fares on return bus shuttle are £3.50 adult return and £1.70 child return. There is also a group ticket costing £7 for a group of five people (with a maximum of three adults per group).
Directions: situated just south of Junction 11 of the M4, take exit B3270 (signposted Earley) and follow yellow signs to ‘Match Reading FC Park & Ride’.

Mereoak Park & Ride (RG7 1PB), 573 spaces.

Madejski Stadium
On a matchday, only very limited overflow parking is available at the stadium for £8 - we advise supporters to consider one of our alternative off-site car parks above. For more details on permits, disabled and family parking areas, entry and exit to the stadium on a matchday and bicycle parking, visit our Madejski Stadium parking page by clicking here.

Town Centre car parks
Parking is available within town centre car parks, approximately 3.5 miles from Madejski Stadium (appropriate parking fee applies). Reading Station return shuttle buses depart from Gerrard Street - frequent service starts two hours prior to kick off. £4 adult and £2.50 child return.

We want your travel suggestions and feedback!
The club are actively seeking to provide even more convenient matchday parking options for our supporters and are in discussions with a number of sites about an agreement for parking provision going forward.

But, as always, we would like to hear from our fans – if you have an ideal location for matchday parking facilities that would suit home and away fans, please contact Customer Services by emailing customerservice@readingfc.co.uk or call 0118 968 1211.
