Tyler attends Kick It Out workshop…

Defender meet local youngsters at Community Trust youth club

Royals defender Tyler Blackett attended a Kick It Out session at one of our Community Trust’s youth clubs earlier this week.

The former Manchester United full-back was a special guest at Coley Park Community Centre, near the centre of Reading, where he helped lead an education workshop for local young people.

As well as covering the work that Kick It Out does in football with Education Officer Hayley Bennett, Tyler also hosted a Q&A session with those in attendance... as well as signing a few autographs and posing for some pics!

A big thank you to everyone at The Coley Park Community Centre for a great session with @ReadingFC defender Tyler Blackett: pic.twitter.com/mc6xQW7mhS

This Saturday’s game against Bristol City is our designated Kick It Out fixture, where we celebrate the work that the organisation has done since 1993 to tackle discrimination in football and society.

Our players will be warming up in Kick It Out t-shirts ahead of the game – and to find out more about their work, head to kickitout.org.
