Young Royals have their say…

22 November 2016

Young fans aged 6 – 16 visited the board room at Madejski Stadium to talk through everything Reading FC with the club

Sixteen young royals were invited to talk to the club ahead of Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Burton Albion.

The event was hosted in the Board Room where the guests were greeted with biscuits and squash!

It was an opportunity for the young fans to give their opinion and asks questions around everything Reading FC!

Jackie Evans, the club’s Supporter Liaison Officer said “We’re always trying to engage with supporters young and old, the younger fan base is an important demographic of our club and we were delighted to be able to talk with them face to face and gain an understanding of their perspective on the club.

It was a productive meeting and we’ll certainly take some of their suggestions on board!”

The young fans will be returning to the stadium on a regular basis to offer further feedback and support the development of the club.

Reading FC try and meet with a variety of fans on a regular basis so as to listen to and act on any feedback. A fans forum aimed specifically at disabled fans and their helpers was held earlier this month with the club's Stadium Manager, Disabled Liaison Officer and Supporter Officer all in attendance.
