Royals keeper returns to Oman with special gift for his youngest child!Royals goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi flew home to his native Oman last weekend to go and see his newborn daughter.
Ali returned to his family home laden with gifts, including some Royals merchandise for his child, who is a month old today after her birth on Thursday 8th September.
With his daughter back in Oman, the busy schedule of matches has seen the Royals play seven games within the space of 22 days with Ali keeping clean sheets against Birmingham and league leaders Huddersfield in that time.
Today I was blessed with a newborn beautiful and healthy little girl.. Happy with the newest family member— Ali Al-Habsi (@AliAlhabsi) September 8, 2016
After our 1-1 draw with Derby - in which the Reading shot stopper put on a great display, denying former Royal Matej Vydra with a sublime reaction save in the second half – Al-Habsi headed back home to Oman.
Naturally Ali was quick to get away from the ground to catch his flight, but before he left we presented him with a full home kit to give to his daughter as a gift from everyone at the football club.
Many congratulations to Ali and his family and we wish him and his new born baby girl all the best for the future!
