Snaps of Reading's victory on penalties against Portsmouth in the Checkatrade Trophy

The Royals beat Portsmouth 4-3 on penalties yesterday evening to take two points from their Checkatrade Trophy clash at Fratton Park after a 2-2 draw in 90 minutes. Reading had taken a two goal lead through Andrija Novakovich and Joseph Mendes, but the the visitors were pegged back by Pompey with the game going to spot kicks.

Four superb saves from Anssi Jaakkola during the shoot-out helped the Royals to victory, with 17-year-old Tyler Frost converting the winning penalty. See a selection of snaps from last night's action in our Facebook gallery below.
